Thanks to everyone sticking with me. there’s going to be a good bit of a process period switching over to the inventory system, so I’ll be running on a hybrid setup. If I have things in stock, I’ll set them to however many I have in stock. Those items will continue to work on an in stock basis. For products that haven’t yet been set to the inventory system yet, regular “build-to-Order” will still be in effect for those items so you can still order. if orders are placed for both “in-stock” and “Build-to-order” items, available items will be reserved until all items are built and will be shipped together. Once ALL items have been switched over, I’ll implement a “Custom Shop” for customized items or fully custom builds. A sincere “thank you” for you support.
We’re restructuring to better serve in a timely manner, by shifting over to an inventory setup.
This will allow you to place an order and have it shipped out quickly as opposed to waiting for every item to be a custom build. If it isn’t in stock, you will be able to email me to get that product onto the priority list for production. I will still do “Custom Shop” builds and departmental orders, but those will be handled on a separate timeline from the inventory system. I will still be building all of the gear, except for a small percentage of things built by my contract helper. You will still get the same quality as before.
When I started, building per-order made sense, and was feasible. As the rate of orders increased over the last few years, it is no longer something I can keep up with, as seen with the current wait times. For survivability, this change is necessary to best serve those who put their trust in the gear. I’ll keep working and adapting to keep things running smoothly and bringing new equipment to the table. Stay tuned for more announcements as we go.
